My name is Vlada Tretyak, I am 25 years old, and Nifty Looks began as something very simple – a place where I could collect the ideas I genuinely loved. Not trends I felt obligated to follow, not rules I had to meet, but small, honest moments of style that felt like me. I’ve never seen fashion as something distant or exclusive. To me, it has always been part of everyday life, something that lives in your morning routine, your favorite outfit, or even the way you choose a color for your nails.
I’m not a professional stylist, and I don’t have a formal background in fashion or beauty. What I do have is curiosity, observation, and a deep appreciation for details. I notice how a soft neutral outfit can feel completely different with one bold accent, or how a simple hairstyle can change your mood for the entire day. This blog is not about expertise – it’s about exploration. I share things I like, things I try, and sometimes even things that don’t work, because that’s part of the process too.
My style is constantly evolving, but it always comes back to a balance between minimalism and expression. Beauty, for me, is deeply personal and closely connected to routine. I enjoy taking time to get ready, not because I have to, but because it helps me feel grounded and put together. I learned a lot just by being around my mom, who works as a makeup artist and brow specialist. Watching her work taught me that beauty is not about perfection – it’s about enhancing what already exists. That perspective has stayed with me, and it naturally shaped the way I approach makeup and self-care.
Outside of fashion and beauty, my life is very simple and full of small meaningful moments. I have a golden Labrador who is part of my daily rhythm, whether it’s long walks, quiet mornings, or just a break from screens. I love traveling, not in a rushed way, but in a way that allows me to notice how people dress, how spaces feel, and how different environments influence style. These experiences often inspire what I later share here.
I also come from a close family, and that connection is a big part of who I am. I have my parents and two younger sisters, and being around them constantly reminds me that confidence and self-expression start from within. Nifty Looks is simply an extension of that mindset.
